BALD CREEK RELIEF
Providing Relief and Recovery to Western North Carolina Communities

Our MISSION
Bald Creek Relief has been providing food, household supplies, clothing, and more for disaster relief and recovery to Western North Carolina and Eastern Tennesee communities following the devastation of Hurricane Helene. What started as a donation and distribution hub at the former Bald Creek Elementary School in Burnsville, North Carolina (Western Yancey County) has grown to be so much more! We are beginning our transition into creating the Southern Appalachia Community Center that will serve our county long-term. Our free food pantry will continue while we add services such as summer tutoring for children, mental health services, wellness services, music and art events, community gardens, and more!
